a. Responsible for the cooking and preparation of a variety of foods and maintaining high standards of sanitation.
b. Coordinates food preparation activities.
c. Coordinates and participates in the service of food, making sure that high standards of sanitation are maintained.
d. Keeps accurate production records along with complete and current recipe files.
e. Trains new employees in food preparation, service and sanitation as assigned by the Food Service Manager.
f. Helps maintain kitchen equipment and work areas, reports equipment problems to Food Service Manager or Building Maintenance Mechanic.
g. Assists in function events such as banquets, receptions, etc.
h. Does related work as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
