Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Livonia Central School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE School Nurse (LPN) for a ten-month school year position.  The current placement is in Livonia Elementary School.  This position will provide 1:1 support for a student.

Job Qualifications

• Possess a NYS LPN license and hold CPR/AED certification
• Possess knowledge of pediatric nursing principles and techniques
• Possess a deep caring for and understanding of students and parents not only for their physical issues but their emotional well-being as well
• Possess the ability to build meaningful and successful relationships with students, staff, district administration, parents and the greater community
• Be able to administer first aid and emergency treatment to students and employees
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills to keep accurate records of all students
• Be able to prepare and meet all state mandates, e.g., immunization requirements, vision and hearing screening, COVID-19 protocols
• Demonstrate a firm belief in the worth and potential of all students
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
