Food Service Worker - Multiple Positions Available

• Elementary School - 6 Hour Day - 8:00am-2:00pm
• Middle/High School - 3.75 Hour Day - 9:30am-1:15pm
• Middle/High School - 4 Hour Day - 6:15am-10:15am

Job Description

The work involves responsibility for the preparation and service of food and the cleaning of kitchen equipment. An incumbent of this class may also act as lunchroom cashier. Direct supervision is received from a Cook. Does related work as required.

a. Knowledge of food preparation.

b. Knowledge and ability to use commercial kitchen equipment and cash register.

c. Ability to communicate well with students and adults.

d. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.

e. Ability to adjust to new and changing situations under pressure.

f. Ability and motivation to implement management policies and procedures.

g. High School Diploma.

h. Good physical condition, strength, and stamina.
